Born and raised in Atlanta, Travis’ love for filmmaking began during his teenage years.
After high school, Travis graduated from American Intercontinental University and received a B.F.A. in Media Production. After graduation, he secured positions at Georgia Public Broadcasting/PBS and Encompass Media. Travis now works at Sinclair Broadcasting (Bally Sports South) scheduling on-air promotions, commercials, and programming. His latest venture is initiating Rude Awakening Pictures, an Atlanta-based production company with his wife, Shauna. As a husband-and-wife writing/producing team, they have received several accolades including their past win at the Atlanta Comedy Film Festival for Best Georgia Screenplay with their script, “SMDH.” Travis draws inspiration from his past experiences, his wife, and their fun-loving five-year-old, Jade.
