Carlie is a well-respected writer, director, and script supervisor.
Known for her unyielding work ethic and attention to detail, Carlie has a passion for showcasing stories that are entertaining, edgy, and thought-provoking. She has held crew positions for network projects on BET, Aspire, and Swirl Films before launching her own production company, Mars 20Productions.
Most recently, Carlie's efforts have gained her anEmmy Award for script supervising OWN Network's Black Women OWN the Conversation. Becoming a script supervisor afforded Carlie with a unique opportunity to gain insight into the art of story while exercising her talent for leadership and
multitasking.
Carlie works closely with directors and directors of photography to ensure a seamless editorial process while interacting with multiple departments. Carlie resides in Atlanta with her partner and five sons. She feels that her children's vivacious spirit bolsters her creativity and challenges her to consistently think outside of the box. Carlie credits her success to them since they are her primary inspiration and always seem to keep her on her toes!
